What is a purchase inspection on Bonaire?

The purchase inspection is recommended when purchasing an existing home, while a new home is referred to as a delivery inspection. Based on this purchase or sale inspection, a report is prepared by BeCaB. This report provides insight into the technical and maintenance condition of the property and includes a general cost estimate, outlining the immediate necessary costs, indirect costs for 1-5 years, and improvement costs for items that are not acceptable.

With this, you immediately have a tool to negotiate or reconsider your decision, as purchasing a home is not something you do every day. This inspection report is a visual snapshot and does not guarantee the distant future. It indicates the condition of your property and aims to exclude major problems that may arise or develop. A Handover Inspectionis a visual inspection of a newly built home. A certified building inspector from BecaB critically examines the property together with you.
